Committee for 2009/10 elected: Sonia Bracegirdle has been elected OUWBC President for the 2010 Boat Race. Sonia, a previous winning Cambridge Blue in 2007, is now at Oxford in her first year of a chemistry D.Phil, and was a member of the winning Oxford Blue Boat in 2009.

Oxford Make it Two Years in a Row at Henley: The Blue Boat defeated Cambridge for the second year running at the 2009 Henely Boat Races, held on Sunday 22nd March.

Two Wins at Women's Henley: Oxford University had a fantastic weekend at the 2008 Henley Women's Regatta as crews won Intermediate Eights and Senior Coxed Fours, racing as Osiris.


OUWBC Win at Wallingford: Oxford University Women's Boat Club were the most successful rowing club at Wallingford Regatta last Sunday, winning six events outright from nine crews entered in the 2km races on Dorney Lake, Eton College's course. The senior squad excelled with four out of the five entered crews victorious after an exhausting eleven hours of racing.


New Committee Elected: OUWBC elected Claire Galloway as their President for the 2009 Boat Race. Claire is a second year medical student at St Peter's College and was a member of the 2008 winning Blue Boat.
